Black Lives Matter Protest at the Galleria Mall Hoover, AL
HotinBirmingham reporting from the Galleria Riverchase Mall located in Hoover, AL. As we were driving up towards the mall there were police cars everywhere. Walking inside the mall were tons of police officers gathered at every section in the mall. There were tons of people standing around video taping the protest, while others were there shopping and various reasons. The protest was peaceful as they marched upstairs and downstairs as you can see in this video. As we spoke with people there not partaking in the protest, they all shared they didn't mind the protesting as long as it was done peacefully and they felt secure with adequate amount of policemen there.
